Presentation at the 1st Annual Meeting of the Mechanobiology, Biophysical Society of China

Dr. LI Yuhui attended the 1st Annual Meeting of the Mechanobiology, Biophysical Society of China (第一届中国生物物理学会力生物学分会年会), held in Guiyang (贵阳) from 17–19 April 2026. The meeting, themed "Force–Life Coupling, Intelligence for Health" (力生耦合、智赋健康), was organised by the Mechanobiology Division of the Biophysical Society of China (中国生物物理学会力生物学分会) and hosted by Guizhou Medical University (贵州医科大学), bringing together over 300 researchers and scholars in mechanobiology and related fields.

Distinguished attendees included Prof. FENG Xiqiao (Tsinghua University), Prof. JIANG Zonglai (Shanghai Jiao Tong University), Prof. XIAO Bailong (Tsinghua University), Prof. LOU Jizhong (Institute of Biophysics, CAS), and Prof. WU Congying (Peking University).

At the Youth Forum, Dr. Li gave a talk entitled "Buckling deformation and mechanical response of microtubule networks" (微管网络屈曲变形及力学响应研究), presenting our findings on how microtubule networks reorganise under mechanical stress.

The conference covered topics including multi-scale cell dynamics, mechano-biology coupling, tumour immunomechanics, and clinical translation of biomechanics.
